ANCEL FX2000 scan tool is an enhanced version of the generalcode reader. It has strong vehicle coverage of over 46 vehicle makers (1996 US-based, 2002 EU-based, 2005 Asian-based, or newer OBD II & CAN domestic or import vehicles). It does not only work on the Engine system for full OBDII diagnosis but also supports comprehensive diagnosis on the ABS, SRS, Transmission system. Moreover, it also provides a live data stream for these 4 ECUs,allows you to add 4 parameters in the meantime to show the live data ina graph intuitively, which is intended to help you quickly findpotential problems of the vehicle. This OBD2 scan tool is a must-haveand an excellent choice for mechanics.

Why doesn’t the record function work?

• Please make sure the vehicle ignition is ON.
• Please confirm that the FX2000 main menu “Settings” – “Record Mode” is on.
• After the diagnosis is complete, you can check the record data on the main menu “Review”.

How to print data?

The software tool supports WIN XP, 7, 8, 10 operating systems, follow these steps to print:

1. Make sure the “Record Mode” is ON before you start to diagnose cars;
2. Afterthe diagnosis completes, connect the FX2000 to a PC via a USB cable,open the installed software tool and click “Print Manager” to theScanPrint page;
3. Enter the FX2000 menu “Diagnose” – “Review”- “Upload Record” to upload the data to the software tool;
4. Finally you can save or print out the data.

• Works on 12V vehicle battery ONLY;
• Must be 16 PIN OBD II protocol.

Engine System Diagnosis:

• Quicklydetermines the cause of faults on the Engine system, reads current,permanent, and pending codes and clears the codes, and turns off thewarning light. What’s more, the FX2000 also shows critical OBD IIextended data, such as fuel, emissions data, and other real-timemanufacturer-specific parameters for making sure the engine ECU workscorrectly and safely.

Auto Transmission System (AT) Diagnosis:

• Readsand clears error codes, views live data (Clutch engagement, fluidtemperature, pressure, etc.) in the transmission system, keeps itsoutput optimally adapting to the speed and load of the vehicle. Itprovides detailed TCM data on the vehicle, which helps you find existingor potential issues fast and accurately.

ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) Diagnosis:

• Readsand clears error codes in the ABS and turns off the warning light. Itretrieves ABS fault codes to tell you where the fault is with a visualinspection of all brake components. The FX2000 also performs live dataflow that allows the user to monitor and diagnose the ABS to ensure thatrepairs to this vital system are effective and complete.

SRS (Airbag) Diagnosis:

• FX2000code reader has the capability to read and clear fault code in the SRS(Airbag) and turn off the warning light to ensure that it is workingcorrectly and safely. This diagnostic tool also displays a graph livedata stream of the Supplementary Restraint System (airbag) which helpsyou analyze and check if the airbag system works fine.

Live Datastream Graph Analysis

• TheFX2000 scanner has the ability to read live data stream for Engine,Transmission, ABS, SRS(Airbag), and provide vehicle diagnostic reports.It shows live data of the vehicle sensors in text, also allows you toadd 4 parameters you need to graph data stream, and focus on anysuspicious or symptom-specific data parameters.

How to update the FX2000?

Update this scan tool via USB cable or TF card, here’s the upgrade guide via USB cable following.

Step 1: Before starting the upgrade, please connect thisdevice to a computer via the USB cable, and make the network connectionstable. (It supports WIN XP, 7, 8, 10 operating systems.)

Step 2: Download the update software from ANCEL official website (refer to the manual) and install it on a PC.

Step 3: Open the software tool, select the connection mode“USB??and click “OK??to continue. The “Product Serial Number” will beread automatically, then hit “Device Upgrade??

Step 4: Move to the register page, type your email addressand Register Code will be read automatically, then hit “Submit??

Step 5: Click “Select All??and click “Download??to start downloading.

Step 6: When the 2 progress bars reach 100%, the upgrade completes. Click “Quit??and disconnect the USB cable.

• If the screen freezes during the upgrade progress, please disconnect the USB cable, and try it again.

How to check if the FX2000 has installed the latest software?

• Connectthe FX2000 to a computer and open the update tool. If the local versionis the same as the latest version, it has installed the latest versionof the software.
