Krytox GPL 105 – 10 Grams Net Weight in convenient dropper Bottle . High Performance PFPE Oil Automotive Anti Squeal . Krytox GPL oils are perfluoropolyether – (PFPE-) based and offer superior stability, lubricity, viscosity, and value. Krytox GPL 105 is a high performance, fully-fluorinated oil which offers superior lubrication across a broad temperature range and unmatched chemical resistance. The inert nature of Krytox ensures it outlast and outperforms alternative chemistries such as silicone and hydrocarbon based lubricants. This unique base oil is 100% non-flammable nor does it support combustion even in 100% liquid or gaseous oxygen environments. The applied lubricant is non-migrating and is ideal for automotive applications, specifically for eliminating NVH ( Noise , Vibration and Harshness ) The Industry Standard Krytox grade for automotive anti-squeak and rattle is GPL 105 , as recommended by VW group including , Audi , Skoda and Seat , plus , Land Rover etc .Key considerations before application – the surface for application needs to be squeaky clean before application of Krytox GPL 105 – free of body wax, silicone etc. Methylated spirits as a solvent could be used prior to application for achieving this. – application amounts need to be minimal – avoid temptation to overapply. Be cautious of contamination onto unwanted areas such as glass and paint as very difficult to remove .
