- CAR MUST HAVE FACTORY WIRED CARPLAY. WILL NOT WORK FOR ANDROID AUTO OR CARS ALREADY WITH WIRELESS CARPLAY. Uses Wifi Direct, will not allow you to use built in car wi-fi hotspot/connection at the same time! When the adapter connects to your phone to provide wireless CarPlay, it disconnects from the car’s wi-fi connection. Please message us if you do not see your car model listed in the pictures. Supports new iOS and older iPhones all the way to iOS 10.

- To connect: Insert dongle, allow a minute for setup. It will open on car screen. Press CarPlay icon. On phone, enable CarPlay & Siri Voice. In Bluetooth, select your device, will start with “Smart?? Pair. CarPlay will open. For screen mirror, on phone, turn on hotspot. Head to CarPlay home screen. Press settings & wlan, find phone’s hotspot name, enter password. Go to CarPlay home screen, press PhoneCast, select your option. On phone, press screen mirror & select your smart device again.
Requirements: Your vehicle will need to have Apple CarPlay installed from the factory for this to be able to work, please check before purchasing. Also be sure to check the Car list in the images for compatibility. Supports regular car button operation: As it has its own custom software, it has a new boot menu interface. Provides wireless CarPlay function for your car through this upgrade! Easy setup and installation: After setting it up, your phone will pair with it as soon as you start the car. Our adapter has WiFi and Bluetooth hardware. It connects with Bluetooth and sends the WiFi credentials to the phone, then disconnects from the Bluetooth network. It works on WiFi from that point on. Software updates can be installed via a file download from a USB stick.
