1. Connect the “MIDI IN” connector on the cable tothe”OUT” interface on your musical instrument, and connect the “MIDIOUT”connector to the “IN” interface on the instrument.
2. An OTG cable is required (not included) for connecting to a mobile phone or tablet.
3. Turn off your electronic musical instrument and computer before making connections.
4.Don’t send SysEx data larger than the maximum speed ofMIDI protocol(3125 bytes per second) since the bandwidth of USB ismuch larger thanthat. If you want to send a data of 256 bytes, it’srecommended that thedelay should be longer than 90ms.
5. SysEx Librarian is a toolfor Mac OS X users to handleSysEx data. It will limit the maximumsending speed to 3125 bytes persecond automatically. The maximum datasize will be limited to 256bytes.
6. MIDI-OX is a tool forWindows users to handle SysExdata. It will not limit the maximum speedautomatically and users cancustomize the size and speed. Make sure thesize doesn??t exceed 256bytes and the speed is less than 3125 bytes persecond.
