SnoozeShade products have been approved by the Melanoma International Foundation since 2011 as they protect delicate baby skin from the sun’s harsh rays.A product only provides UV protection if it blocks more than 97.5% (UPF40+).
One thing to consider when looking for a UV shade is that if you can see your child clearly then so can the sun (unless the fabric has been treated with chemicals). So the darker the better.
Many shade products are unclear about what exact UV protection they give. At SnoozeShade we like to be clear – a double layer blocks between 97.5% and 99%.
