The bow has Brazilwood stick, air dried more than five years. Round stick shape, great wooden bow hand feeling. Adopting unbleached Mongolia horsehair, it offers you sweet sound. The black ebony frog shows the natural wood grain, and is decorated with classical Parisian eyes. Soft grip, elegant nickel silver thread winding. All parts are fitted by the same experienced maker from the start to finish. It’s a good bow for student. We spent many efforts making bow screw adjustments smooth also ensure stabilize frog. Please kindly note that it may still not be so easy to tighten bow screw as the stick of bass bow is much thicker and stronger than violin bow. You may find there is a very small gap (about 1mm) between stick and screw. These are our tips to reduce the friction between bow screw and stick end to make screw adjustment easier.

Answer: Yes. The french bass bow is built -via old experienced maker – via over 20 processes – with sharp tools and knives by handwork.
Question: Is the bow rosined?
Answer: No, this is a brand-new bow that has never been rosined yet. Vingobow has no special requirement on rosin brand, just use your preferred one for it.
