Q: I bought this USB-C to Micro B 3.1 cable to plug in an external harddrive to my MacBook Air. The cable only provides power and no datatransfer at all, why?

A: Mobile hard drives are generallyin NTFS format, which is recognized under Windows, but it is impossibleto copy data to the hard drive under Mac-OS, and it is necessary toconvert the format of the mobile hard drive to ExFAT format.
